The authorized biography of 'DreamGirl' Hema Malini is soon being published in Marathi under the title 'Hema Malini - Adhikrut Jeevankatha' by Pune-based Ameya Prakashan.
Renowned film jounalist and critic, Bhawana Somayya has written the biography through conversations with Hema Malini, and covers her childhood, the efforts taken by her parents to make her a highly skilled danseuse, her entry on the large screen, her whole career, her controversial marriage to actor Dharmendra and her dedication to the field of dance. Senior noted journalist Aruna Antrarkar has translated this biography into Marathi.
This book will be available to reders by 15th May 2008. The Book contains 312 pages of text and a rare collection of 40 pages of Hema's photographs.
